Biography
Mr. Stangeland’s professional experience spans a wide spectrum of technical operations, support services, and risk management projects. This has included transitions of major facilities; waste management and environmental compliance operations planning activities; emergency preparedness and response capability development; radiological engineering and safety; health physics; and applied research. He has functioned in individual contributor, team participant, project management, technical group leadership, client and vendor interfaces, and program management roles. He has been active with project strategic planning, implementation, organization and team building, goal development, change controls, performance tracking and reporting, and problem solving for numerous projects from ~$3M to ~$50M. He also has knowledge and experience with regulatory agency structures and systems.
