Biography
Frederick Rutz designs and develops Windows based software applications, specializing in graphical user interfaces and the integration of environmental software models. He is also involved in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a means for visualizing the data used and generated by environmental software models. Current project work includes the development of a GIS based atmospheric dust dispersion modeling system to be used in the mitigation of dust generated at military training sites as well as software for downloading and processing online meteorological data for use in atmospheric simulations.
