Biography
Mr. Layton has over 33 years of industrial, government, and commercial power plant fire protection engineering and design experience. He has special expertise in the fields of fire protection system design, fire hazards analysis, and fire risk analysis. His experience includes fire modeling (CFAST and FDS), engineering system design, sprinkler hydraulics (HASS), and project engineering at a variety of power plants and DOE process facilities. Additionally, an extensive knowledge of Navy nuclear submarines while acting as the Damage Control Assistant aboard the USS Snook (SSN 592) during overhaul.
